About The World Outside Forest School

Forest School at Bodenham Arboretum is provided by The World Outside Limited which has three sites, two of which comprise fantastic, purpose built wooden shelters, each with a woodburning stove. The woodland has a stream running through, providing a wonderful environment for children to play and explore.
All of our leaders are: OCN Level 3 trained; experienced in working with children; insured and hold Enhanced DBS as well as being qualified in Adult & Paediatric First Aid.

What we offer

Bespoke sessions / regular events, for individuals, families, youth organisations, corporations and educational establishments – learn play, explore and get close to nature in a fun and interactive way.

Activities run throughout the year, from school visits and private parties through to under 5 and holiday sessions, so be prepared for all weathers!

School / Nursery Visits / Educational

Schools /Nurseries are invited to visit the Arboretum.

Curriculum Linked Educational Visits are also catered for.

Activities

Activities will include amongst others: Den building, Campfire cooking, Bushcraft, Fire-lighting, Knife work and Whittling, Natural Art, Mini beasts/pond dipping, Stream Damming, Natural Musical Instruments.
